London Update on H1N1 Flu

The Middlesex-London Health Unit has provided an update to area Members of Parliament in regard to the local situation regarding the handling of the H1N1 strain of influenza to help keep citizens informed.

PANDEMIC (H1N1) INFLUENZA VACCINATION CLINICS FOR HIGH-RISK INDIVIDUALS - SCHEDULE

Only the following individuals may attend the clinics listed below:

· Individuals under the age of 65 who have underlying medical conditions;

· Children between six (6) months and less than five (5) years of age;

· Household members of children under the age of six (6) months;

· Household members of individuals with compromised immune systems;

· Pregnant women with underlying medical conditions or healthy women over 20 weeks of pregnancy;

· Health care workers.

Please do not attend any of these clinics if you are currently ill with fever or respiratory symptoms.
